🔍 When is it ripe?
Ripe when fully coloured (white, red, or black by species) and falls at a touch. Spread a sheet and shake the branches. Extremely perishable — process or eat immediately.
LOTS of mulberry trees (various types too) at this location, even extending to the perimeter of the small building at the intersection of bittersweet and mckinley (SW corner). There is even a convenient dirt-drive type of pull-in spot there to park off the road. Trees of varying flavor ranging from fair to excellent.
