Safeway dumpsters, three small and a large. Not for the shy dumpsterer as they are right on 28th and traffic is heavy at all times. We actually go exclusively during the day because it's impossible to not be seen and we don't want people to get spooked at sketchy night activity and call for dumpster locking. Low but fairly steady yield -- usually a few ok veggies and sometimes some bread or other treats. Perfect for a small household looking to supplement veggies. We go a couple days a week and usually get half a plastic bag or so. Employees see us frequently and don't seem to care -- although I wait until no one is around before actually jumping in the dumpster, and often wait to poke around if I can.
