🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red and glossy; stem pulls cleanly. Taste is the best test — sweet and juicy when ripe, still astringent if picked too early.
Because a small part of the cherry tree was a very minor inconvenience to road workers, they cut down the entire tree, rather than simply pruning it. There are no longer cherries here.
