🔍 When is it ripe?
Berries fully coloured and slightly soft. Stem where it joins the bunch turns woody and brown. Seeds easily visible inside. Sweet throughout when fully ripe — taste from different parts of the cluster as they ripen unevenly. Grapes do not continue ripening after harvest.
Grape patch/bramble on a rockwall in the northwest corner of this yard. Some are accessible from the sidewalk.
This is in a yard owned by my grandparents, they get way too much fruit for them & don't really know what to do with it. Feel free to ask @ 305 E 3325 N, they are usually home, or text me @ 9493245135
If you don't talk to them before gathering, they are sweet, & if they see you they will just want to know what you're doing, & maybe will engage you in small talk for 3 hours, offer you food, or ask for help around their yard.
