🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep purple-black, duller than blackberries. Separates from the hollow core like a red raspberry. Richer, more intense flavour than red raspberry. Short season — harvest daily.
Black raspberries grow next to the car parking spaces on the left (where Grant St. would be if it continued straight). There is a little path that extends between the strip of woods and the property at the end of Wesley Ave. Black Raspberries grow along near the entrance. Just coming into season mid-July.
