Hangs heavily and droops at the neck; skin softens and may split. A sweet drop of nectar at the base eye and the absence of white sap at the stem confirm ripeness. Pick with a gentle twist.
Growing between the fence of the sainsburys car park and the fence of the railway. Think public land as its in no mans land between sainsburys and the railway, some can be reached through the gaps but most grow up high so will have to wait til they fall
