🔍 When is it ripe?
Oval, bright red to orange-red hips. Ripe when uniformly red and slightly soft. Excellent for rosehip syrup. Always remove the irritating inner seeds.
It’s actually beach roses, specifically for the rosehips. It’s not really a “private” beach it’s called Waterford Beach in the town of Waterford. You can get in for free as a resident or their guest and I think there’s a small fee if you live in a different town. Probs like $15 idk. Free in the off season (fall/winter/spring)
