🔍 When is it ripe?
Unlike apples, pears ripen from the inside out. Harvest when the skin colour lightens and the fruit separates with a gentle upward twist. Ripen off the tree at room temperature — leave on a counter until the neck yields to thumb pressure.
ENG: Tall and old tree located just by the walkway, easy acces. Bearing fruits august to september. Fruits are very small, sweet-sour, very tart, not juicy. They fall on grass so beware of dog poo.
PL: Wysokie stare drzewo, poniemieckie, tuż przy chodniku, łatwy dostęp. Owocuje sierpień-wrzesień. Owoce bardzo małe, słodko-kwaśne, bardzo cierpkie, niezbyt soczyste. Leżą na trawie więc uwaga na psie kupy.
