🔍 When is it ripe?
Background colour changes from green to yellow or cream (variety determines final colour). Seeds inside should be brown. Flesh yields slightly to thumb pressure. A ripe apple releases with a gentle upward twist — no pulling. Check the ground for natural drops.
Red apples with a delicious flavour, just before the flyover, near the start of the crash barriers. It's set back off the road and there are many thorny bushes around. The tree is still small but has lots of small to medium-sized fruits that can be easily picked by hand from ground level.
