🔍 When is it ripe?
Large, yellow to pale orange. Heavy for its size; skin slightly smooth rather than puffy. Can hang on the tree for months once coloured. Taste is the best test — should be sweet-tart, not bitter.
Lovely grapefruit. Tree is in front of the building. So many fall and rot on the ground. There are plenty in the tree ready to be picked. Don't let them go to waste!
