🔍 When is it ripe?
Like a smaller blackberry on a trailing cane. Fully black and separates easily. A waxy bloom on ripe berries. Ripe before blackberries in most areas.
Lots and lots of dewberries all around the spring, mostly on the east side. Ripe around march. Make sure to save and spread seeds back out through the area so you and others can have more Later on.
