🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red, sticky, wine-flavoured. Ripe when dark red and separates easily from the stem. Good raw or for making wine and jam.
Not sure of the exact location on the map - it's between the lodge and Bushnell falls, closer to the lodge and just off the edge of the rocks on the bank of the river. A couple of ripe wineberries in early July.
