🔍 When is it ripe?
Small, round, turning from red to deep purple-black. Sweet and blueberry-like when fully dark. Birds eat them as soon as they ripen — check daily. Best fresh or in pies and jam.
Small serviceberry tree nestled among some bushes along the fence on Clark. (Right next to Samboon's Auto Care.) The birds got most of it in 2015.
