Mulberry

📍 13 Superior Dr, Natick, MA 01760, USA
Mulberry Private but overhanging
🗓 Season: May · June · July · August
🔍 When is it ripe?
Ripe when fully coloured (white, red, or black by species) and falls at a touch. Spread a sheet and shake the branches. Extremely perishable — process or eat immediately.
Mulberry tree shortly past merger of Rte 9 ramp and Speen St. Branches hanging over sidewalk, location easily indicated by stains on pavement. Tree trunk is at the bottom of a steep hill, making some branches difficult to reach, but many are easily accessible from the sidewalk. Multiple unripe berries as of late July 2022. Tree might be on land belonging to Mathworks facility, status uncertain. Sidewalk is public.
