🔍 When is it ripe?
Hangs heavily and droops at the neck; skin softens and may split. A sweet drop of nectar at the base eye and the absence of white sap at the stem confirm ripeness. Pick with a gentle twist.
Have sourced this location a few times. Fig is large, located hanging over the stream that goes under the road. Can be difficult to access because of it's size, but the location puts out good fruit.
