🔍 When is it ripe?
Turns red, yellow, or purple depending on variety; flesh gives slightly under thumb pressure. Taste-test — ripe ones are sweet-tart with little astringency. Drops easily from stem when gently twisted.
There are several fruiting plum trees on the nature strip here near the roundabout. The road is busy so it would be best to go in the late evening or off peak.
