🔍 When is it ripe?
Classic Bartlett: skin turns yellow-green from green. Harvest when the neck near the stem gives to light pressure. Ripens off the tree in 4–7 days at room temperature.
Very young orchard we started planting last spring(2022), none of our trees will bare fruit this year. However if anyone wants to trade scion wood for grafting please LMK! Trying to get as many varieties as I can grafted onto these 20 or so trees while they are young. Orchard is in our front yard, not fenced and will hopefully be open to the community by 2024. Please ask before clipping anything off our trees and always treat them with respect, they are still young and quite fragile.
