Wine raspberry

📍 521 Snowden Ln, Princeton, NJ 08540, USA
Wine raspberry Public
🗓 Season: July · August
🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red, sticky, wine-flavoured. Ripe when dark red and separates easily from the stem. Good raw or for making wine and jam.
50 or so bushes, all along the paved paths south of the soccer fields. Usually ripe around the second-third week of July, slightly later than other local wineberries because they're very shaded. I got a good 2 gallons in 2 hours this year and there were still plenty left
