🔍 When is it ripe?
Ripe when fully coloured (white, red, or black by species) and falls at a touch. Spread a sheet and shake the branches. Extremely perishable — process or eat immediately.
Two mulberry trees on each side of the entrance to the trail. I think they're male because they should be full of fruit. DIdn't notice any fruit stains in the ground either. There is likely fruiting mulberries nearby, as they're very common in this area
