🔍 When is it ripe?
Classic Bartlett: skin turns yellow-green from green. Harvest when the neck near the stem gives to light pressure. Ripens off the tree in 4–7 days at room temperature.
Just north of the driveway. The pears are ready to pick now. Pick them green and place them in a paper bag for about 5 days. It is ready to eat when you press near the stem and the fruit gives a little (they will turn yellow as they ripen).
