🔍 When is it ripe?
Flowers: pale yellow clusters appear June–July. Harvest when just opening for the best flavour and scent; dry quickly to prevent fermentation. Excellent for linden-flower tea (tilleul). Young leaves (May) are edible raw in salads.
Large linden here on the courthouse corner. Tea from the flowers is excellent and great for anxiety.
