🔍 When is it ripe?
Harvest flower spikes when about half the flowers on the spike have opened — maximum oil content. Cut stems long, in the morning. Dry in small bunches upside down in a warm, airy space. Use in baking, tea, and herbal remedies.
I saw these plants today as I walked by.
I don't know enough about plants to know which variety of lavender they are :(
Not completely sure if it is city property or if it is technically the lot who takes care of the whole plant display but I don't think anyone would have a problem if you harvested some.
