🍎
Pomegranate
📍 1023 N 3rd St, Cottonwood, AZ 86326, USA
🗓 Season: September · October · November
🔍 When is it ripe?
Skin turns from pale orange to deep red; fruit becomes angular and the blossom end flattens slightly as arils expand. Tap the skin — a ripe pomegranate sounds metallic. Heavy for its size. A slight crack at the shoulder is fine. Do not wait for it to fall.
Tree is on private property, but fruits fall into the alley right-of-way to the east of the tree.
