🔍 When is it ripe?
Bright red olive-shaped berries. Very sour when first red — wait until they turn deep red and fall freely or can be shaken off. High in vitamin C. Good for jam, wine, and sauce.
Surrounding the bike racks on the East side of Grainger Library, there's several cornelian cherries. Loaded with fruit.
