🔍 When is it ripe?
Turns red, yellow, or purple depending on variety; flesh gives slightly under thumb pressure. Taste-test — ripe ones are sweet-tart with little astringency. Drops easily from stem when gently twisted.
Pretty much all of the purple trees in North Medford are Purple Leaf Plum trees. Some people call them cherries, some people call them plums, but in the summer, they're full of purple plum-cherries! Watch out for pits. In between Walmart and Lowe’s on crater lake highway
