🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red and glossy; stem pulls cleanly. Taste is the best test — sweet and juicy when ripe, still astringent if picked too early.
A few cherry trees in the grassy field in Gilbert Primary Park. Fairly small fruits, and not the best eating quality, but they are ok cooked/preserved.
