🔍 When is it ripe?
Small apples ripen from green to red, yellow, or orange by variety. Very tart raw but excellent for jelly and cider. Ripe when the colour is fully developed and the fruit lifts off with a gentle twist.
it looks like Golden Hornet but the fruit is more narrow in form and gets mealy. still good for jelly if picked in time i think. there are 2 more of these on the same parking lot.
