🔍 When is it ripe?
Ripe when fully coloured (white, red, or black by species) and falls at a touch. Spread a sheet and shake the branches. Extremely perishable — process or eat immediately.
Huge mulberry tree on the council verge. Property used to have grape vines and fig trees but were removed when demolished. The mulberry tree is very productive.
