🔍 When is it ripe?
Background colour changes from green to yellow or cream (variety determines final colour). Seeds inside should be brown. Flesh yields slightly to thumb pressure. A ripe apple releases with a gentle upward twist — no pulling. Check the ground for natural drops.
Single apple tree in front of the RLB Police Department. Apples are mostly red, with some green streaking. Crisp, white flesh. Sweet and tart... kind of like Gala or Braeburn.
Healthy tree, about 15' tall, in pretty good shape but could use some thinning soon!
No access issues, just head to parking area in front of P.D. side of Village Hall, and step onto grassy landscaped area. Don't forget to smile and wave at the P.D. staffers as they stare out the window and wonder what you're doing!
