🔍 When is it ripe?
Fully orange and heavy for its size. Skin yields slightly when squeezed. Fruit will hang on the tree well past colour development without falling — taste-test for sweetness.
This is a bountiful tree! The oranges are a delightful mix of sour but sweet. I'm not even an orange person and I liked them! Be prepared to do an easy climb or bring a fruit picker. The property behind the tree has a bunch of full trees of its own, so I don’t think the owner would mind.
