🔍 When is it ripe?
Small apples ripen from green to red, yellow, or orange by variety. Very tart raw but excellent for jelly and cider. Ripe when the colour is fully developed and the fruit lifts off with a gentle twist.
This crabapple tree was intended for decoration most likely and the owners would probably be more than happy if some one would help clean up the falling fruit that creates a mess.
