White Pine Has 5 Needles per bundle, making it easy to Identify.
Needles make tea, just wash and steep with boiling water. (AVAILABLE YEAR ROUND)
Pine Pollen edible raw, harvest by picking off entire cluster, careful because poison ivy is climbing it. AVAILABLE MID MAY. Sunny parts of trees have most cones.
Remember when processing Pine Pollen, lay them out on parchment paper so they shed pollen, sift them through and store in freezer in glass container for long term.
