🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red, sticky, wine-flavoured. Ripe when dark red and separates easily from the stem. Good raw or for making wine and jam.
Located at the entrance of the blue and yellow trails from the parking lot on Shep Jones Ln from Harbor Rd, as well as various points along the blue trail. Mixture of unripe and ripe fruit. This is a privately owned park open to the public; although the plant is invasive, park policy on foraging is unknown to me.
