🔍 When is it ripe?
Small, round, turning from red to deep purple-black. Sweet and blueberry-like when fully dark. Birds eat them as soon as they ripen — check daily. Best fresh or in pies and jam.
Very tall bushes in the front yard of 1643 Beechwood Ave. The branches overhang the sidewalk. You have to be tall to reach them. Very abundant crop!
