🔍 When is it ripe?
Round, red to dark purple when ripe. Tart, plum-like flavour. Ripe when deep purple and slightly soft. Used for jams and sauces in southern Africa.
Multiple Kaffir plum trees scattered around this parking lot. Note that most fruit is out of reach because of how the trees have been trimmed.
