🔍 When is it ripe?
Background colour changes from green to yellow or cream (variety determines final colour). Seeds inside should be brown. Flesh yields slightly to thumb pressure. A ripe apple releases with a gentle upward twist — no pulling. Check the ground for natural drops.
This tree is in the middle of a round about so be careful when accessing it. Most of the fruit is up high, but there was plenty on the ground. Seems like an odd place for an apple tree.
