Tons of shaggy parasols and various other mushrooms (lots of boletes and gomphidius at times). The shaggies pop up consistently and in huge numbers. As always, don't eat any mushroom unless you are 100% certain of your identification and start out with a small amount of anything new on the off chance it's something you are allergic to. For shaggies, make sure you can tell them apart from green-spored parasols (haven't found in Cornwall) and a certain agaricus that grows there and looks similar when young. They are best harvested just as they're starting to open up, as the maggots and slugs will get to them pretty quickly once they mature. And don't forget to leave a few for the other hunters!
