Brilliant 3-petaled purple flowers with thick, hardy stems and two opposite long leaves. Grows in the rocky walkway from the Climbing Wall to the path beneath the 9th street bridge. The flowers, while not particularly delicious, are edible and useful as an attractive garnish. Potential for natural dye ingredient.
