🔍 When is it ripe?
Background colour changes from green to yellow or cream (variety determines final colour). Seeds inside should be brown. Flesh yields slightly to thumb pressure. A ripe apple releases with a gentle upward twist — no pulling. Check the ground for natural drops.
Twin apple trees on company property (Microsoft #115) by sign. (My only worry is commercial landscape maintenance using pesticides and pre-emergent herbicides that are then taken up by these fruiting trees.)
