🔍 When is it ripe?
Ripe when fully coloured (white, red, or black by species) and falls at a touch. Spread a sheet and shake the branches. Extremely perishable — process or eat immediately.
In the northeastern corner of the alley of 21st place, a mulberry tree (black?) hanging over a garage door. Only a few branches hang over, but it's really tasty fruit. Hopefully it doesn't get pruned back.
