Non-astringent types: eat when orange and firm. Astringent types: wait until very soft and wrinkled. Both fully orange when ripe.
A medium size persimmon tree. In good health. Has been here ever since we moved to this house about 13 years ago. It produces a good amount of fruit each year. Each fruit is plump and juicy.
