🔍 When is it ripe?
Fully black (not red or dark red) and comes off the stem with no resistance — zero pull. Dull rather than shiny; a shiny black berry is still slightly underripe and tart. Eat the same day for best flavour.
Large blackberry patch, no visible poison ivy, first ripening starting early July it looks. Berries are very large, can't vouch for flavor as they're a little unripe at the moment
