🔍 When is it ripe?
Red to yellow, about 2 cm across. Tart-sweet when ripe; flesh softens and the fruit falls readily. Good raw or cooked. Watch for early drop — often ready by mid-August.
Multiple American plum trees right off the road by the parking lot, easily reached. A few trees have smaller (cherry-sized) plums, while others have larger (small apricot-sized) plums.
