Now Forage

The floor of the hillside was absolutely COVERED in Miners Lettuce! If you go in April, you will be harvesting Miners Lettuce micro greens. May, the plants are pretty much at their peak, and then June they are flowering and producing their seed. I have a feeling that Miners Lettuce pops up at this location every year around the same time. I was overwhelmed with the amount of fresh, nutritious greens I was surrounded by. I went back here 3 times to harvest and saved some of the seeds from the last harvest.
