🔍 When is it ripe?
Must be fully ripe (very soft, almost jelly-like) before eating. Harvest after first frost or when naturally falling. Dark orange to purple when ready. Rich, caramel-sweet flavour.
Best to harvest in late October and November. This is on park property. There are a few persimmon trees next to the benches at the corner of Becker Rd. and Finestown Rd. Parking is available on the curb of Finestown. Be careful not to trespass onto the neighboring private properties. They are very small fruits.
