🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red and glossy; stem pulls cleanly. Taste is the best test — sweet and juicy when ripe, still astringent if picked too early.
On private property, branch is public domain over side walk, you'll have to look up and be tall to reach or use a hand to get them, it is somewhat easy to get if 5'9 or 6ft if short below height bring more hands to help or a grabber. Always healthy looking and tasty, take precautions.. food gets water burnt at times or bursts from over growing from heat. If bugs land on it check it or don't touch it. Common sense is the best way to anything.
