Ripe when fully coloured (white, red, or black by species) and falls at a touch. Spread a sheet and shake the branches. Extremely perishable — process or eat immediately.
Two mulberry trees along the sidewalk hanging over the fence along the road. Good access along public sidewalk but busy road (40th) alongside. Seen dropping fruit in June.
