🔍 When is it ripe?
Fully black (not red or dark red) and comes off the stem with no resistance — zero pull. Dull rather than shiny; a shiny black berry is still slightly underripe and tart. Eat the same day for best flavour.
The vines are located right at the end of the piney z trail, That's the green trail marker on the park maps. When the trail ends and opens up to the train tracks, there are vines on either side.
