🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep purple-black; pulls free from the hollow centre. Strongly flavoured. Picks over about two weeks — check every couple of days.
Going North on the left side, there are several black raspberry bushes leading up to the road. They are scattered all over this trail, so keep your eyes open.
There a lot of them there, but they have an off taste, maybe due to the soil or where they are growing near. Some are good but others taste really weird. I think the flavor might be off due to sap from surrounding trees.
