🔍 When is it ripe?
Clusters of orange-yellow fruit; ripe when fully orange with no green, yields to gentle pressure, and comes off the stem with a slight tug. Very sweet and aromatic when right — mealy if overripe. Short shelf life after picking.
4 or 5 young loquat trees in landscape planting between Home2 parking lot and Market St. Don't know if they are producing yet, I think they were only planted in 2020.
